CONTRIBUTOR SPOTLIGHT. Thank you for all of those who are following us. The holidays are still on but please welcome Dante who is a writer for the Omega column of Better Nests & Scents! #omegaverse

Pink background. Contributor spotlight Better Nest & Scents. Dante he/him. Role: Writer/Omega.
Why do you love the omegaverse?
Simplest answer: Omegaverse is just really hot.
More detailed answer: Omegaverse has so much potential exploration in dynamics and relationships, be it social, interpersonal, with the body, etc.
Omegaverse is a customizable mixed bag where you can just pour in whatever you like in it, or be surprised by what others decide to put in theirs. There isn't a wrong way to do omegaverse, and I think that's the best part of it.

Why do you love the omegaverse?

I love the omegaverse because of the insanely diverse sandbox it presents to play with gender norms and societal expectations. It's a genre where everything is possible. There is no limit in fiction, but in omegaverse there's not the traditional expectations as traditional romance or fantasy.

Why do you love the omegaverse?
There are many ways to incorporate the omegaverse into both fanfiction and original works of any genre. I always look foward to seeing what artists come up with for theri story.

Why do you love the omegaverse?
I think it's a really interesting lense to look at different presentations of queerness through, and what each society considers "queer" in gender presentation and sexuality. Also I just think knotting is hot.

FAQ Regarding Better Nest and Scents: All Images have alt text embodied. Last post on this thread is the timeline and link to our site if you prefer to read it there directly.

Q: Is there any level of experience to participate in this zine?
A: Nope, whether you’ve participated in zines before or it’s your first time, we will based your acceptance on your pitch for the magazine. However we do expect all participants to adhere to the schedule and communicate accordingly if delays are to occur.

Q: How much wiggle room can contributors suggest new ideas to put in the zine that aren’t listed in the initial examples already provided?

A:All suggestions are welcomed! If your pitch doesn’t fit into the examples provided there will be a section of the contributor application for “other” and please pitch your idea there and we’ll find a way to make it fit

+creative as possible as what they would want to create for an omegaverse. But this is also why when the contributor form goes out I will ask for a pitch: this is to ensure there's a balance of ideas and to work out if there seems to be something clashing I hope this makes sense for now+

Omegaverse Magazine: Coming Soon @rainbowlemonpress.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

To clarify: The omegaverse is basically a sandbox with a few basic rules regarding the Alpha/Beta/Omega hierarchy but many authors of course have their own spin. Since this is a lifestyle magazine would there be one "shared" universe or ruleset. The answer is no as I want contributors to be as+
