(This is a reply to this and the other post so we're not having two conversations at once) I think that's all fair. But the net effect of having 30 people imply you're a terrible person, even "politely", is the same as open harassment. Specifically when the original intent was not political at all

Some people take shit way too seriously. It's just a fun art trend, it's not that deep. Rowling makes zero money off of fan art, and drawing it is OBVIOUSLY is not an endorsement of her. If anything she'd probably be annoyed people are making a male character into a woman.
