haven't finished it yet but i can say Big Walk is my favorite coop game of all time. I used to say that about The Forest, a jank game made amazing with the right friends. But Big Walk is a well made, well designed game, made perfect with the right friends.

Play The Mermaid Mask! And the other Detective Grimoire games too! Not really a deduction game, more like reading a book and getting a pop quiz at the end of every chapter. The writing and voice acting are great, and all the characters are super charming.

Just finished replaying Tomb Raider 2. I wonder if an indie game with classic TR controls could be well received. Games like @sfbdim.bsky.social's Crow Country (among others) use the "outdated" shooting mechanics successfully, so maybe outdated 3D platforming mechanics deserve a comeback too?

One of my first gamedev-ish things (that anyone played) was designing about half the puzzle levels of Mari0, a 2012 mashup of Super Mario Bros. and Portal. The game was pretty popular when it came out, and I love finding out that current friends played my old levels years before they met me.

OK I added a few new settings to UUVR and now PEAK is basically fully playable in VR with just a config file. Dirty workaround for the UI, but I managed to climb up to the first campfire in VR in just over a minute! I promise this footage has not been altered in any way.

Was confused trying to understand what kind of numeric system Sony invented here on the PlayStation Store website. Turns out this is supposed to mean 1.2k (1200), they seem to translate the "k" part to "000" 💀

I wonder if there are any games that do this in a natural and diegetic way. Wall Town Wonders is kinda that. But I'm thinking of something more configurable. Like a farming game where you can adjust the steps in terraced fields as a way to change the steepness. So gravity always points down.

If you're a #gamedev struggling to gain visibility on Steam, don't worry! You just have to use dirty tricks! Follow these simple steps and you too will rise to the top of the charts.

Hitman: World of Assassination shows in the VR section "New & Trending" on Steam in Jan 2025, even though the game came out in 2022. This is because it has an "edition" that came out in Jan 2025, which only includes a single episode, and doesn't actually include VR support.
