I am appalled but not surprised. The president is a rapist ffs and this is a systemic, endemic issue. These universities feed pipeline. Sadly there are undoubtedly many similar cases we don’t know about. They thought they’d get away with it because most do.

I have seen this play out with my middle schooler and their school, and it makes me furious what tech companies are doing. The devices need to come out of schools.

I think this explains a lot of why people are using Ai like a search engine. Google has become garbage to wade through.

I just don’t understand why there isn’t more discussion around this when talking about affordable housing. People fixating on stuff like density, which is fine, but strikes me as a real missed opportunity to not get serious about modern manufactured.

Our lake house is manufactured from the 90s and I have been so pleased by how few issues we’ve had. The floor plan is actually pretty fucking solid too. That’s 40 years old holding up, and the tech is so much more advanced today.

I know nothing about this topic but it’s social media and that shouldn’t stop me from talking out of my ass. And I am also the daughter of a contractor and I just don’t see how it makes sense to build crap one stud at time with the cost of bespoke but actually soulless shit that falls apart.

And really, you probably could systematically incorporate better design, variety, and quality into manufactured stock than what a lot of crap stick built. New construction in TX is absolute garbage. Expensive trash.

Random but was thinking the other day how asinine it is that much new construction is soulless cookie cutter crap and not just manufactured. Like why stick build the same generic shit over and over how incredibly dumb.

Increasingly feeling like the best way to get reliability out of AI is writing deterministic code with a UI to interact with structured data. So using AI to move things away from AI basically 😂 It can be ok for unreliable things but very few business functions where unreliability ifs good enough.
