Good news: both Dragon Engine and Traxos, Scourge of Kroog are receiving the Dragon creature type with the release of Reality Fracture. (The other Dragon Engines already had the Dragon type.) More info here in the Update Bulletin: magic.wizards.com/en/news/anno... #wotcstaff

When one lucky prerelease attendee broke the seals on the Helvault, there were goodies… and Bs! #wotcstaff (somehow)

At the store I managed at the time, I joked for weeks that the Helvault might contain anything, including bees. So, the night before the prerelease, I printed out a few sheets of paper with the letter B repeated over and over on them, cut up the Bs with a paper cutter… (1/2)

I am stunned that the constitutional question was so close. I thought it would be 6–3 or 7–2. It is profoundly disturbing that four justices would allow either the president or Congress to rewrite the plain text of the 14th Amendment. This is obviously a good outcome, but the margin is alarming.

Looks like I made an error in the #MTGStrixhaven release notes, specifically on Ambitious Augmenter. In the Anointed Procession case, both tokens should receive the counters, as indicated by CR 122.8. I’m working on getting the document corrected. Thanks to those who mentioned it! #wotcstaff

The NYT is being disingenuous here. The AMA has *always* said that gender-affirming surgeries should generally be reserved for adults. That's part of why so few kids get them! The AMA reiterated this position and the NYT is characterizing it as a policy change. It's not.
