Got something planned for this little mixer that just came in today. Taking some getting used to, but it's fun to play with.

So... asked my place of work if I could do opener (6am to 3pm) and to my surprise, they posted the new schedule with me opening. I can get my VRC night life back. XD

I'm doing some melodic house tonight, hard mode. No sync, no wave forms, no pitch lock. Watch me panic as I try to mix. XD Electric Crew from 9PM-1AM CST DJs: Korhall (9PM) Raff Surion (10PM) Pandatron (11PM) Mackilla (12AM)

Woke up this morning and went straight to my turntables to do some beat match practice for 30 minutes. Think I'm going to do that every morning, kinda gives me a feel good feeling to start the day.

I finally got a job. I wish I could celebrate, but it works me so hard that I'm afraid to take up any DJ sets on VRChat. Worst, my ankles got overworked and had to get a doctor's note so I could rest. I'm not sure how long I can go like this. :<

So uploaded my last DJ set last night. Sadly YouTube nuked it since one song was blocked in every country, that song being a remix version of Smalltown Boy. :(

So it's the start of a new week. I got a lot to work on as far as DJing goes. Need to prep for a all vinyl event along with two other events. Also, I need to post more mixes on YouTube. Really want to create a playlist of 30 minute sets of different genres I like to mix, serving as demos.

Binge watched The Amazing Digital Circus last night. The part where Kinger pops the question to Ragatha "Do you hate yourself?". I had to pause the video for five minutes. T.T I still tear up when I replay that scene in my head.

Beatport, DistroKid, Apple Music, and any company that supports this along with consumers that suck this up like there's nothing wrong with it. FUCK YOUUU!!!!!! I've had a couple of AI songs slipped into my crates and as a DJ, it is soul crushing. The little joy I had left in my life just... gone.

152

Raff Surion @raffsurion.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

Just learned that the license creator was vibe coded. Double whammy, I spent an hour looking for new breaks on Beatport for tonight's sets. Most of the top 100 tracks sounds so... generic. ...and here comes the sussy part. album art is AI generated. This fucking kills me as a DJ.
