why did I not finish it? first of all, it’s my first game project since I was a teenager and I have to admit that the complexity of game mechanics are mind boggling for me (very unlike a boring CRUD SaaS) second… life and other projects (earning money) got in the way

genre: idle MMO if you know browser games of the past like the crims, ogame, tribal wars etc - you’ll get the idea it doesn’t have many of the game elements I hoped to include… but it’s somehow playable on the most rudimentary level

google ads is now my favorite distribution channel once I learned it, it makes the most sense because it’s so fast, reliable and scalable, all other sources (SEO, content etc) became secondary and it makes sense to start with PPC: if you can’t make the math work now, how will you scale later?

Blue Sky is a Green Pasture Tons of bootstrapper "fortunes" have been built on Twitter API (TweetHunter, Black Magic, Typefully...) And same can be built for Bsky using those existing blueprints. I can see some makers already reaching out for this opportunity. Will you?
