It can be frustrating to watch people be rewarded for their selfishness, malice, and cruelty. Whatever worldly benefits those people may receive, they will never know the peace of having made the world better. Have faith that this reward is superior to any other.

During times of crisis there is much we can do to reduce the suffering of the victims. If you lack the resources to contribute materially, then speak compassionately so the victims know they are not alone.

Now that the holidays are upon us it’s a good time to remind everyone to treat their friends/family w/ use disorders w/ kindness and compassion. Nobody wants to have an addiction and live a disordered life, they use their substance to stop a pain in them. Be kind. Shame is harmful.
