Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 28/09/2026We better get a SOUL'd OUT track during the Wekapipo fight. It's one of the few times it's feasible for the namesake of a reference to make it into the actual show. 0250

Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Simpler answer is that it was just a bad call made by someone who doesn't know the appeal of the series or its relationship with music. This is how most anime typically get their themes. The only reason it's a problem this time is 1. JoJo is traditionally an exception 2. the producer's a sex pest 3312
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Unlikely. Netflix is the distributor. So while they have their hands in things like the release schedule, the only ones responsible for production are DavidPro themselves and Warner Bros. Japan. Given the song was released under Warner Music Japan, my guess the latter made the call. 1142
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I see we've reached the mass bargaining phase in record time with the Steel Ball Run ED. 0212

Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 25/09/2026I'm way more pissed off by the end theme shit than I ever was by the scheduling. It'd be one thing to break from a beloved tradition to do something new that serves the work. It's another thing to do it in service to the blandest and most tonally inappropriate J-Rap track I've heard in my life. 4403
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 25/09/2026You can tell it's the Steel Ball Run ending theme because they say Steel Ball Run over and over (The name of the show) And because there are horse noises (The show has horses) And because it was produced by a sex pest (Funny Valentine reference!?) 05213
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Can't watch the new episode of Steel Ball Run for a few hours, but I'm excited to get home and sit down to hear what song they've chosen for the end theme. I just know that they've got something special planned. 2161
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Finally. Peak fiction can be experienced the way it was always meant to be. 0221
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 18/09/2026WHY!? WHY IS IT ALWAYS BEING BAD AT COOKING!? EVERY SINGLE JRPG, WITHOUT FAIL, IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME EXACT SAME BIT. WTF IS SUPPOSED TO BE SO ENDEARING ABOUT BEING BAD AT COOKING THAT IT MAKES IT INTO EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN GAME!?!?!? 2150
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Nothing could have prepared me for the new Fire Emblem game letting you go bird mode and perch on your favorite glup shitto's arm to sing to them like they're a fairy tale princess. Absolutely unhinged franchise. Game of the year shit, don't get me wrong, but no sane person could conceive of this. 1223
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Metroid Ravenous looks great. Please don't make Samus's narration suck. 071
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 09/09/2026I'm still excited for Persona 6, but my god. After Metaphor: ReFantazio and now what I'm seeing in these leaks, I think Atlus might very well be the world's most laughable centrist made manifest as a video game company. 4462
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 06/09/2026YouTube constantly making updates to push the Subscription feed further and further out of the way is driving me up a goddamn wall. 2170
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Have they ever done back to back directs like this? They usually spread them out to separate weeks at the very least, right? 170
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 28/08/2026I love the new TJL volume cover, but I also have to say, wtf is that pose? How is he not falling off of that pillar, man? 4362
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 13/08/2026It is 2026 and I am still fighting the losing battle of insisting that "Wonder of U" is also named after Prince's "I Wonder U." Not just the Elvis song. 4171
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I spent years thinking ofc meant "of fucking course." 3181
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Why is Howler all about the number 8? Doesn't he know Part 8 ended, and we're on Part 9 now? Is he stupid? 2251
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 04/08/2026Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave is baffling to me. I like most of what I'm seeing in concept, but I also can't see it all coming together in any remotely cohesive way. Hope I'm wrong though. 281
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 31/07/2026Cool, I'll cautiously consider never buying a Playstation again. 0243
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 27/07/2026Actually, no need to even really specify Act 2. JoJolands has been on a generational run for pretty much its entire serialization. Even its lowest points are better than most of its contemporaries' highest peaks. 3292
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 27/07/2026JoJolands has genuinely been on a generational run since Act 2 began. I'm so excited for next chapter. 1324

Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 19/07/2026For the most part, none of Jodio's cabal of idiots seem to have any one-to-one analogues with Bruno's gang aside from Jodio clearly being Giorno. Which is interesting, because it's very different from how Araki has done remixing in the past two parts (direct analogues in P7 and trait grafting in P8) 1270
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 18/07/2026So~... there's this sentient rod of light~... 313945
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 17/07/2026Jodio: Knows it as the "Italian meme song." Dragona: Knows it as the Spider-man Pizza song. Paco: The only one who knows what the actual song is called. 3396
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 17/07/2026Usagi is quickly becoming my favorite character. 3312
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 17/07/2026Everyone congratulate Kyoka. Today was her first day in mainline JoJo and she did a very good job. 1394
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 17/07/2026You know JoJolands is in a good place right now because we just got one of the most fanservicey callbacks in the history of the series second only to High Voltage, and yet all people want to talk about despite that is how crazy that new stand is. 1537
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 16/07/2026If I had gotten spoiled on today's JoJolands chapter, I genuinely think I would have thought it was a shitpost and not a real spoiler. 1241
Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 16/07/2026Dear God, this arc still ongoing? This is like part 6 or something. That rarely ever happens anymore with the monthly schedule. Anyways, live on YT. 172

Aeonstar @radiantaeonstar.bsky.social · 01/07/2026Never getting over this being the official spelling for Chrollo's name. Togashi on his bullshit. 0171
