When he did something to upset her and she threw a teapot of boiling tea at him! Good for her! She saw out her days with her brother Harry in Wareham where she caused some embarrassment by going out in food stained clothes. I love her.

Today I learned I had a great great aunt Rachel who was apparently red haired and feisty. She ended up with the role of caring for her mum and never married. They spent some time in the US with family, whilst there, Rachel worked as housekeeper for a single man. This employment came to a swift end..

Delightful conversation with my 76 year old mum and her 78 year old partner today. Apparently, in the last elections, she persuaded him to vote differently with the promise of sexual favours. I mean good for them but bloody hell, I’m definitely filing this under TMI.

I just made my first crystal bracelet! I’m really pleased with myself. It’s a random selection but I like it. There’s malachite, rhodonite, pink opal, sunstone, labradorite, blue calcite, howlite and celestial.

The quite terrifying ‘monkey bridge’ near me. Me and the dog cross it to get to the reservoir. Some of the planks are a bit wobbly and the trams run overhead. I run every time! 😃
