I made a spear inspired by the snaking fog that I see coming down the river valley in the fall mornings we call The Dragon. Made with steel that was once equipment that farmed these valleys, wood that grew here as well, and wax that keeps it rust free is from the bees here too.

“Dolly” is one of 13 Chawans I made and named after incredible and inspiring women who I’d love to have a cup of tea with. This one was wheel thrown, carved and burnished to a smooth finish. Color is from iron oxide.
