Richard Burns Rally (2004). This sim feels so good because the internals of the car are modelled in a way that most other engines haven't done so since they added an additional two degrees of freedom in 1998. RSC is sponsored by simcraft.com - check 'em out. :)

Tough balancing act on the effect of the wake between loss of downforce in the turn, loss of drag on the straight, and the AI coping with the speed differentials - especially once it stacks behind a train of cars. This is gamedev footage from my US Open-Wheel 85-95 Manager. #gamedev #ad

A lap of the game I am developing, bringing the underlying physics forward visually. Showing both right side tires and the chassis squatting on its suspension, this is showing the deformation in the tire, the stagger on the RR and (subtle though it is) camber on the RF. #gamedev #ad

Tim, did you really need to try to model a contact patch in a management game? How else am I supposed to be able to judge whether a driver would really spin out if their tire deflates? Now I just need to do asymmetrical car setups so the tires are not rolling on their side in the turns.
