Ten absolutely superb live albums. In my opinion, the best one is UFO's "Strangers in the Night". I find it hard to rank the other nine. You can see which ones they are in the comments section. #ClassicRock #RockNRoll #ClassicVinyl #LiveClassics #cdcollection #nowspinning #Hardrock

Some albums require a duplicate copy. "Side Black" captures Queen at their absolute peak. "The March of The Black Queen" is out of this world. #ClassicRock #RockNRoll #ClassicVinyl #Queen #cdcollection #nowspinning

A review in Classic Rock prompted me to listen to Paul Laine. Apparently Paul had served as the lead singer for Danger Danger. This means I have actually seen him live. November 1997: UFO in Gothenburg with Danger Danger as the opening act. #ClassicRock #RockNRoll #ClassicVinyl #AOR #DangerDanger

På nåt sätt har man alltid känt respekt för Rod, när han rockat har det varit äkta och bra. Att Rod gjorde hemska avsteg med sina "American Songboks" är bara att förtränga.

While waiting for Rick Wakeman to return to Mars, I am revisiting the album "1984" in which he set Orwell’s famous book to music, with Tim Rice contributing the lyrics. The vocal performance from Chaka Khan, Jon Anderson, and Steve Harley is a sheer delight. #ClassicRock #RockNRoll #ClassicVinyl

A genuine rocker has left us. Angry Anderson breathed rock 'n' roll through and through. He may have taken his energy and dedication to another dimension, but the records remain. Tonight, I’m spinning Rose Tattoo’s debut in Angry’s honor. "Astra Wally"! #ClassicRock #RockNRoll #RoseTattoo

More guitar-driven noise from a fun Tuesday night in Gothenburg. The Ruts warmed up the crowd for The Undertones. Or rather, Ruts DC, to be precise. They closed with brilliance: "In a Rut," "Babylon's Burning," and "Staring At The Rude Boys." #punk #punkrock #punklegends #punkrockhistory

Paul McLoone is no Feargal Sharkey, but he really impressed me this Tuesday night when The Undertones played at Pustervik in Gothenburg. The Northern Irish band’s hallmarks live on. That is largely thanks to Paul. #punk #punks #punkrock #punklegends #history #punkrockhistory

My vinyl collection clearly shows that British glam rock dominated my turntable just after I turned ten and in the years that followed. What's more, most of it still holds up today. I need only to say "Teenage Rampage"! #ClassicRock #RockNRoll #Classicvinyl #MusicSky

I immediately dissed the result, but it has changed a bit over the years. It is laid-back rock that is pleasant to have as company during a car ride. The title track stands out and "We Got It Going On" is pleasantly ragged, but Big city Jon is clearly more awesome than prairie Jon.

"Lost Highway"is an album that many of us are torn about. The New Jersey gang suddenly had Nashville as their temporary home base and recorded a full-length consisting of 13 songs in a pure country rock style.

And what do you find in a CD collection here at home in Sweden? I thought I would come back to that from time to time. First up is Bon Jovi. It feels fitting because the band is currently here in Europe and has triple concerts at Wembley in London in the next few days.
