Recently got a (reasonably cheap!) bit of audio gear to bridge a gap and pass native DSD audio to my main hifi DAC. Different source media notwithstanding, yeah is very much a different sound to PCM-based digital stuff and the music I've got in the new encoding sounds incredible SO DANG CLEAR

FreeCAD going rogue again and retrospectively creating non-euclidean geometry so far back in the model feature tree that the file is effectively scrapped Hell yeah FreeCAD! Still all-round happier with it than Fusion tho.

Been sinking a lot of time and effort and money (oh god the money) into recent endeavour: home automation/self-hosting. Goal is full abscission from cloud services in everyday life. Some small exceptions (email, webhosting - security reasons). Love how it's come together, at least aesthetically.
