And the ones that were made with love got stuffed away between some junk and you gotta pry everything out with your bare hands to reach it before the rats do.

I want to always like women/girl media but instead of feeling excitement and empowerment, I feel annoyed. You can tell from a glance that some of these weren't made with love, they were made with indifference and greed.

#OsamuTezuka #手塚治虫 What do you mean Sapphire and Franz had a PROPER fencing rematch in the Shōjo Club version, and Sapphire gets to overpower him? 🔥⚔🔥 He only won, because she let him.

I think Magma would be the Mars to Mol's Venus in PK. And Blue Bon already looks a lot like Mercury/Hermes with the winged helmet and shoes, so... yeah! #R0bitaDraws #OsamuTezuka #TezukaStarSystem #手塚治虫 #リボンの騎士 #鉄腕アトム #マグマ大使

A simplistic digital drawing of three Osamu Tezuka Characters standing side by side together.
The image depicts the goddess Venus (Mol?) in the center looking haughty.
To the right of Venus is Blue Bon dressed as the Roman deity, Mercury, smirking and holding a Caduceus.
To the left of Venus is Magma dressed as the Roman deity, Mars, looking disgruntled with a spear in one hand and a shield in the other.

A digital drawing of Osmau Tezuka's characters Mol and Magma, depicted as Venus and Mars resting under a tree.
Magma lies down with his head resting on Mol's lap with his hand reaching out to the light sparkling off of her.
Mol looks down at Magma smiling with her hands caressing his hair and face.
The background behind the two characters depicts trees, Greco-Roman pillars, and a fountain in front a twilit sky across a green field with yellow flowers.

A digital drawing of Osamu Tezuka's character, Blue Bon (aka The Blue Knight), depicted as the Roman deity Mercury.

He is depicted lounging on top of a ancient ruin that is covered in vines. His his legs are crossed, one arm resting on a broken pillar, and the other arm over his knee.

Need to do more illustrations that represent my interests. The Romani Ranch stuff from Majora’s mask really stuck with me as a kid.

A rough sketch with sharpies of fan art from the legend of Zelda Majora’s mask. With Link with his bow in the center surrounded by the flat wood creature aliens abducting a cow and a confused Cremia. This is a work in progress so it will change.

If they wanted to up the birthrate they could raise minimum wage, provide free daycare or socialized healthcare- instead they are pushing for women to be severely punished for getting an abortion, discouraging women in higher education and questioning if we should vote. The agenda is obvious.

There are SO many reasons people aren't having kids. The biggest being financial strain or worries about the future kids will inherit. That's not what people/institutions like this are worried about. They're scared of the women who just dont want kids. Women are not allowed to just not want kids.

Vote early and in person, folks. If you're in a "vote by mail" state and can deliver your mail-in vote directly rather than relying on USPS this year, do it. Otherwise get it into the mail at the earliest possible date. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

This is so disturbingly backwards in so many ways. No matter the crime, no government or military should ever encourage people to watch an execution. Turning criminal punishments into public spectacles is the most extreme form of lynch mob mentality. Criminal Justice here is so fucked.

And then there's Greta being a last minute addition, which doesn't really make up for Grant Dynasty being absent from the story because the writers didn't think a cursed acrobatic pirate would be an interesting addition to the main team and story. And how they handled Saint Germaine.

Queer characters existing in a magical setting is good. If the magic is simply a tool or extention to a character, that's fine. But I don't like queerness being seen as an exclusively magical aspect. Queer people shouldn't have a special reason to exist. They just exist, no questions.

R0bita @r0bitadraws.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

There are ancient myths that touch on gender and sexuality, but those are associated with the cultures and religions of that time. So even in as a story, they come of a bit less fantastic and more spiritual.

R0bita @r0bitadraws.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

It's weird that I dislike how gender and queerness is handled in most magical fantastical settings but I'm less weird about it in Sci-Fi. I don't like gender being associated with magic, but I do accept (imaginary) science. I can't fully explain it.

And I've never seen this doctor before, because I recently switched care providers. This is because I was originally supposed to see my old doctor in a week. Then they canceled early last month and wouldn't take appointments for another month... So I switched to see a new one.

Digital drawing of Blue Bon/The Blue Knight from Osamu Tezuka's manga, Astro Boy.

The character is redesigned to resemble a stylized portrayal of the Norse God, Odin. The character drawn with and eyepatch, holding a spear, and wearing outfit meant to resemble that of a viking. The winged helmet is designed as if two ravens are perched on each side. Next the character is a rune, "Ansuz".

To the right of the character, a line image resembling Hermes is seen peeking from behind the character. Next to that image is the alchemical symbol for Mercury.

#AstroBoy #OsamuTezuka #鉄腕アトム #手塚治虫 #R0bitaDraws Epsilon and Denkou. They never met, but I sometimes think Epsilon would've taken him in if he could.

A digital painting of characters from Osamu Tezuka's manga, Astro Boy.
Epsilon, an android cloaked in robes, carries the smaller child-like android, Denkou.
An antenna protrudes from Epsilon's forehead and emits rays of colorful lights going all directions.
Denkou's body is shown to be transparent from below with light particles hovering around them.
The void of darkness within Epsilon's cloak appears to have small starlight imagery within it.
