Great that Carol Mochan’s @scottishlabour.bsky.social amends on Fair Work in Care Reform Bill have passed. Scotland’s far from achieving Fair Work in Social Care. This is a welcome 1st step - but not the last one. A strategy and report will HAVE to demonstrate action asap @ccpscotland.bsky.social

It reads: “Whatever the political calculation behind today’s UK announcement, it has demonstrated a profound disregard for the contribution of the social care workforce – and ultimately, a depressing devaluing of the people they support.” At the bottom left are a grouped series of different coloured concentric illustrated circles bleeding off the edge. A vision of ‘longer, healthier and fulfilling lives’ for the NHS. Add ‘independent’ and perhaps we could have a joined up vision for health & social care given any sense of a genuine #NCS reform package now seems pretty thin.
