🗳️ Today, we urge MPs to vote in favour of crucial amendments to the National Insurance Bill to exempt social care organisations from increased employee contributions. ⚠️ Without this exemption, the sector faces severe financial strain, risking services that support thousands.
Graphic with a blue background and text which reads: "We urge MPs to vote today to exempt social care from National Insurance employee contribution rises". There is a graphic of three cartoon people, with one person holding a white Quarriers flag, and the Quarriers logo at the bottom of the image.

Last year, we invited our members to share the reasons why they value social care and support. ✏️ Every Friday, we share one of their messages. This week’s is simple but true: “People matter!”
An image showing a white card tilted on a purple background, with illustrations of loudspeakers and circles in the corners. At the top of the card there is a heading in purple which reads, ‘I value social care and support because…’ and underneath, a handwritten message in dark green, which reads: ‘People matter!’ The messages are from a CCPS event in May 2024 at which members’ views on the true value of social care were captured. CCPS is sharing the messages to promote the voice of our members and raise awareness of the true value of social care.
