Don’t believe the take going around that Matthew Vines’ NYT piece is just about his personal preference not to use the word “queer.” It is 100% a political thought piece blaming queer theory and the “queer” community for the threat to marriage marriages equality for the “good gays” like him

My biggest worry, as a Conan fan, is that they don’t properly convey Conan’s intelligence and just have him as a big brute. But maybe that’s the REH obsessive in me.
