NT&B's R-1 Chesapeake these were built shortly after the U-1 Centipedes to tackle the tighter curves of the cascade range, but they also found their uses as bankers for some grades or switchers in some major yards

Marona Mill Co. Diesel Shay #2

Initially built by Lima in March, 1903 as their construction number 733 this 3-truck coal burning Shay was ordered as a stock locomotive by the West Coast Shay dealer Hofius Steel & Equipment. and purchased by for Wood-Acme Logging Co. as their #2.

In 1947, her logging days for Wood-Acme were over she was sold to Marona Mill Co. also at Acme as their #2. After a few years there she was converted to diesel-hydraulic power and used as the mill switcher She worked out well and when the Mill closed in 1955, she was finally scrapped.

Art's an exclusively human endeavor,

another Shawmut engine, 98 this one was a pusher for some grades on the road. at the time, it was so strong that it pushed cars off the tracks, and even its own tender once it was also Baldwin 30,000, so it may have been used in a similar way as 60,000 for a time before the PS&N got it

how to fix Lionel: 1. maximum price 1,000 for the largest engines (articulateds specifically) 2. make Lionchief stuff use TMCC instead of that crappy radio/bluetooth controlled system 3. abolish Visionline 4. profit no one's gonna pay a thousand bucks for an 0-8-0. that crap should be at most 400.
