Filling in a survey and it asks “how often do you do [thing you don’t do]: With friends? With strangers? In person?” I filled in 0% for each of them and it spits out an error that it must add up to 100% lol So you’re forcing me to lie, huh

Comic tip for artists who struggle with layouts or making each page not so same-y: be less literal about where your characters are sometimes. Become more artsy with emotions they feel or information they share, you don't need them standing in the same room/position like a scene from a movie

the only comic discourse I care about

A comic titled "How to Draw Comics," in which a serene looking being is stood before a table, on which is a single sheet of paper and a pencil. The being is staring at us.

They then peek down at the sheet of paper, and the POV switches to that of the being, so we can see what is on the page. A single word is written there:

"Don't"

The POV switches back, but is closer on the being's strangely serene face as they continues staring at the page.

They then stare directly at us, the serene face implying the opposite.

A long and snowy series of illustrations of webcomic OTP Shy and Wren. Shy holds his cocoa up to take a sip, Wren warms her hands with her cup, and they meet together in the middle, foreheads pressed, with a wisp between them shaped like a heart.

Canada is refusing to issue ISBNs to books primarily generated with AI. This illustrates both the urgency of the problem of the growing flood of slop books, and also the toothlessness of addressing it on the honor system without there also being consequences for lying

Use of artificial intelligence
By registering with ISBN Canada, you declare that your book was created by a human author. You may use AI tools only for limited support tasks, such as brainstorming ideas, checking grammar, or formatting your book. You must not use AI to generate the text, create the artwork, or translate the book. ISBN Canada does not issue ISBNs for works whose content is primarily generated by AI. LAC is currently reviewing its policy regarding the use of AI content creation and our guidance is subject to change.

People don't believe me, but I'm TELLING you, there MUST be an active campaign strategy happening in media published by WB or other parts of JK's team trying to force HP awkwardly and unnaturally into public consciousness. Certainly from the WB side, I've seen multiple properties doing it already.

Taking my bunny to the vet for a checkup is always a gamble of whether she’s perfectly fine or if she’s been hiding some grave injury or illness. At least this time she doesn’t have ulcers from her teeth but the vet says it’s “close” to happening again 🥺 And she has cataracts at middle age lol
