The ICE agent who shot Renee Good suffered internal bleeding, multiple U.S. officials familiar with his medical condition told ABC News.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said the FBI’s decision to take over the investigation into the deadly shooting in Minneapolis will keep state officials from accessing evidence.

The Department of Homeland Security accused the victim of being a "rioter" and that the ICE officer who pulled the trigger was "fearing for his life." Mayor Jacob Frey rejected claims of self-defense.
