My semi-annual reminder to all teachers that even when the system does fuck all to support you, your students will still be in their therapy sessions years after they’ve graduated telling their therapist (me) how much you changed their lives. Y’all are amazing, and you don’t hear it enough.

A lot of people think that because they don’t see much homophobia in their day-to-day life, it’s not an issue anymore. What they tend to forget is that the bulk of homophobia only shows up when there’s queer people around.
