Started a new game last night and as both a turn based rpg and One Piece fantaic it's a match made in heaven for me. Just like One Piece Odyssey I'm immediately sold.

Got my pre-order in for Tales of Eternia. Sucks we're not getting a physical release here in the states and I have to import from the UK but beggars can't be choosers and I'm just happy we're getting this remaster at all.

Finished Wild Arms 4. Going back to games can lead to reconnecting to something you loved but it can also work in inverse. Playing this as a kid and as an adult are completely different experiences and my main takeaway is... I didn't really enjoy it. The writing was so lackluster and uninspired.

I love the seedy, underbelly towns with the shifty alleyways and skeevy music. They're always the most fun to explore

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Started Wild Arms 4 last night and got hit with a wave of nostalgia. This is my favorite Wild Arms game but I've only beat it once and that was well over 15 years ago. I'm very excited to return to it

Took it easy today and laid back with Atlantis for the PS1. What a fun little adventure game to one of my favorite animated films. Hope everyone has a good night! 😴

Tales of the Abyss complete! 46 hours later and I can easily see why it's considered one of the series best. Fantastic cast, strong storytelling and simple but enjoyable combat. Has entered my top 5 Tales of games for sure. 10/10

Happy Friday! I am exhausted but also excited for the weekend. I'm at the final dungeon in Tales of the Abyss so I'll be finishing up that probably tomorrow and I've also got the new East of Eden adaptation to bing.

Bought this candle and it's either going to be the best thing ever or horrendous. I don't see a middle ground lol 🧈

Final day of September which means it's time to update the list. Been taking a break so only one new addition but I have gotten back into Tales of the Abyss and I'm still loving it. I'm expecting October to be a more productive month on the gaming front.

020

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I have never gotten the chance to play the Lufia games so I am beyond the moon happy that they are being remastered and released next year. Day one cop

It's hot as hell and it's been a very long day. Settling in for the night with some Taco Bell 🌮 and one of my favorite Pixar films 🔥 💧 🌬🪨

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend. I've just been chilling, playing some Tales of the Abyss and Warriors Orochi 1. I'm ready for autumn to fully arrive though, I'm over this heat 🍂🍁

020

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

September is a pretty free month for me when it comes to new game releases, so I have time to knock out more backlog, but October is looking to be a bit more stacked. Eternia and Resonance are my priorities but they release so close together 😵‍💫

031

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Started Tales of the Abyss a few days ago. This is the last big Tales game I have yet to play. Many people claim it's even the best. I'm ready to find out for myself and fill this massive hole in my jrpg backlog. I'll just say it has started incredibly strong.

Another Eden Begins releases on the 17th (digital, the physicals are supposed to release next year). I think it looks fun but I'll probably wait for the physical release and the reviews.

Happy first day of September. Starting a new game. This artwork has already drawn me completely in.

August has come to a close so it's time for another update. Had a lot of fun this month. FFXII is always a treat and Visions of Mana was immaculate. Not to mention I got to play FF3 for the first time...twice! lol

040

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Finished Final Fantasy III Pixel Remaster. So after playing both the 3D remake and the Pixel Remaster back to back I can definitely say the Pixel Remaster was the more enjoyable experience, though both have their merits. This was my first time playing FF3 at all so it was a fun experiment lol

And the hits just keep on coming 😭. I knew Tim from many projects that I loved but he will always be Dr. Frank-N-Furter first and foremost for me. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is still an annual watch and will forever be one. Rest in peace 🖤

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I'll forever be grateful to Dolly for giving me Two Doors Down No other song lifts my spirits the same way. Rest in peace, love ya Dolly 🩷💛

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I completed Final Fantasy 3 on the DS last not. Overall was not a fan of this version of FF3. Ridiculously over tuned in difficulty. Probably wouldn't play again. That said I am interested in how the Pixel Remaster stacks up, haven't played it, so I think I'm going to do back to back FF3 runs.

020

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

This game scared to crap out of me as a kid 😆

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Two new One Piece films announced is crazy but I'm seated! 👒🍓👊🏴‍☠️☀️

120

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I'm having a spot of trouble landing on my next game. Right I'm currently playing the Final Fantasy III Remake but that's more of a secondary game as it's really just a bunch of grinding. When I get the time I've got to go through my backlog and find something short and sweet.

021

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Finished Visons of Mana's main story and the post game chapter. What can I say, I just couldn't put this game down. I've had such a lovely time with it. There are things I could be more critical of but to be honest, I liked it way too much to care. 10/10 One of my favorite games this decade.

130

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Started Visions of Mana a few days ago and this game is BEAUTIFUL. Visually stunning. I'm also loving the exploration and gameplay. I'm already feeling this might become a favorite 😚

150

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Another new arrival today. I had so much fun with the first Fairy Tail rpg as a big Fairy Tail fan but never got around to the sequel. Found it for a good price and poof, here it is. Now I just need to decided between this and Visons of Mana for my next game 🤔

110

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Final Fantasy XII finished yet again (here's some random victory fanfare since you don't get any for beating the final boss). What can I say, I love this game. I adore the world of Ivalice and the many inhabitants of it. I love our party of orphans, pirates, knights and royalty. Amazing

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

New pickup today and yes Sony, it's physical 😝. Cannot wait to finally get into this one.

020

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

Did a lot of grinding this month between Endless Ragnarok and Dragon Quest with a little sprinkle of indie there at the end

010

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

What a solid little game. Also way darker than I was expecting it to get.

130

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Started playing Crossing Souls last night. So far it seems like a cool, nostalgic adventure beat-em up

020

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Finished Dragon Quest VII Reimagined last night and I loved it! The episodic design made picking up and putting down the game extremely easy and while it got a bit fatiguing by the end it was still an enjoyably digestible experience. The bland characters would be the only real sore spot for me 8/10

231

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Any guesses on what my favorite Tales game is? Doubling up on the physical lol

040

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

I'm so excited to be back on DQ VII Reimagined. With the job system now available to me I'm expecting everything to open a bit more. I just love a good job system😊

150

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

I have done it! I have finished the Relink expansion. Whew 😩 my hands haven't ached like this from playing a game in a long time. I'm sure ready to get back to Dragon Quest's command based combat. I'll share more in depth thoughts on the expansion after I let it digest a bit but I had a blast.

030

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Good morning Bluesky. I'm eating pancakes and rewatching The Mindy Project 🥞

130

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

Got through this boss by the skin of my teeth. Thank goodness the ai team mates in this game are so capable lol

020

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Every time they say Angra Maniyu in Granblue the only thing that comes to mind is this abomination lol. I have X-2 brainrot

140

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Hit the 20 hour mark in DQ VII, literally just unlocked vocations lol. I'm loving this game. It's working It's DQ magic. On another note the Granblue Fantasy Relink expansion releases tomorrow and I'm super excited. I'll be taking a few days away from DQ to explore the expansion.

New book arrived today. Something new to read before bed 💜💛

130

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

My physical games mean the world to me and nothing will ever convince me that giving players the choice isn't the correct course of action. But hey, it's all just numbers to them 😮‍💨

230

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Got my next big rpg locked and loaded. Missed it back in February but what I need right now is an old school jrpg with modern day conveniences

230

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Officially halfway through the year and after June's completed games I'm sitting at 21 overall.

020

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Also my choice of creamer 🎂

010

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Star Ocean First Departure R finished! Started this replay completely expecting to put it down after an hour then find something else to play but I just love Star Ocean. This game was also way tougher than I remember it being, which after playing the fairly easy Starbites was kind of nice.

130

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

I somehow fell into a Star Ocean First Departure R replay and I really couldn't tell you how. It's feeling right though. 🚀🌠

071

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Started SAO Fatal Bullet because according the everyone this is the best game in the series. I've avoided it because it's a third person shooter rpg and shooters are nawt my cup of tea. Case in point, I wiped on the first mission 😭 I'm loving everything else so far, 😮‍💨 guess I just need to git gud

020

{ANG€L} @queer169.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

Trying to decide my next game and I've narrowed it down to these three. Choices 🤔
