i wish that games weren’t locked to a console. i feel that the real solution to the physical media crisis would be to have the opportunity to take our games from any platform and play them without an account or client. drm-free pc games already work this way, right? #gaming

i thought this was pretty interesting. on the pc collector’s edition of the blood of dawnwalker, instead of PC, it says Steam. idk why i never thought of it, but yeah, just about every PC game now is actually a Steam game (of course, not Epic games, some indies, etc)
