@swradiogram.bsky.social we have a storm cells closing in on us so going low tech for the experiment. 9455khz 2300z MFSK32 giving good text on a 16" telescopic whip so far. #hamradio

@swradiogram.bsky.social 9955khz 1430z WRMI in southern tier NY using G5RV dipole invt vee. So recap very poor reception and decodes text and images in MFSK modes. Only one image infact. However Olivia 32/2K performed flawlessly with the levels falling to -8.8db at lowest level. #hamradio

I quite like this one too Neil. It tells “about time” it’s still about 1830. There is something marvelous about the self winding watches though. I had a Russian made Dolphin with the feature, 24hr analog face but it was lost to an accident.

Are we missing the boat on some things? Wristwatch for example pick up a timing signal from Colorado every night. No GPS satellites or internet. It’s simple and it works.

Had something like this monster on the roof. But lived in the Adirondacks and was picking up Albany, NY. Digital was a hard transition and we lost stations for just not getting enough signal in.
