Temptation, sin, desire, instinct, glory, power, manipulation... Ambessa as The Devil in my Arcane Tarot (she's one of my favorite characters in the series!)🐺 The next character I draw will be the last brand-new one before I start revisiting some of the previous characters. Any guesses who it'll be?

This is a serious matter that we're asking our followers to help boost. A black Mel fan on twitter was sent a hard slur and it was discovered that it happened the day after a group of people engaged in a lot of racist rhetoric about them. JV fans engage in racist behavior and embolden other racists

Did you know Riot now has an option to open support tickets for Riftbound? While the concept of the Defender of Tomorrow card is nice, we shouldn't have to support whitewashed or racist depictions of the characters. Let Riot know to fix the print #RBVendetta ⬇️ support.riotgames.com/en-us/riot/t...

Digital art made by @celvy_cemy on twt of Mel Medarda from Arcane / League of Legends. Mel is depicided as a young girl, as we see her in Arcane season one flashbacks. Instead of her original outfit, her clothes mirror what witch apprentices wear in the manga/anime Witch Hat Atelier / Tongari Bōshi no Atorie. Her dress is a soft ombré purple, with gold accepts and a creme white tunic. She is standing in the throne room we also see in her childhood flashback from Arcane. Next to her is a ribbon that spells out her name, "Mel Medarda."

Made really good progress on chapter 9 lately 🥳

The vision was the same, but the colors entirely different.

Perhaps that's what it meant to know more of a person.

From her point of view, Mel couldn't exactly tell what Jayce was working on— the majority of his back was turned towards her— so she let it play out for a while longer. There were several long planks of wood, an electric saw, and a handful of other more complex tools outside her scope of knowledge.

When the sharp whirring of the electric saw quieted for a moment, Mel let the music run for several seconds before bending down, glossing her fingers over the volume dial.

Happy Pride Version Two 💋💍

A digital painting by @keyxiidae.bsky.social. The artwork is of Jayce Talis and Mel Medarda (from Arcane / League of Legends). The two of them are depicted from the waist up in the center of the piece, embracing each other while kissing. Wrapped around them is a large bisexual pride flag, while bisexual pride coloured confetti swirls around in the air around them like petals. They appear to be in the heart of a pride celebration, with transgender pride flag coloured make-up on their cheeks as well.

Jayce is tenderly cradling Mel's face, one hand on each side of her face as he smiles into their kiss. Mel is also smiling, holding on lovingly to his arm and neck while she leans into the kiss. Both of them are depicted in their late Arcane season two designs, Jayce with longer hair and a beard, and Mel with her expanded golden mage sigils.

The two of them are happy and in love, with meljay implied. Both are wearing golden wedding rings, also implying they are married.

Bc ppl are posting mothers day stuff. An old fic but whatevs #meljay

“Hi.” He’s the same, yet different. There is less muscle to his frame, but not in a bad way. Even in the dead of night, Mel could see there was a color to his face and eyes that hadn’t been there the last days she saw him.

Nevertheless she still doesn’t move. “You’re a ghost.”

The large army green duffle bag slides off his shoulder, hitting the ground with a dense thud. “I’m back.”

Mel is unmoving. She folds her arms tight across her chest; gods, she is too tired for this. “What’s that even supposed to mean?”

Jayce opens and closes his mouth a few times in a false start. His strong features melt to a soft pout, seeing Mel’s walls be erected higher and thicker in real time. His throat is strung tight, fraying at the seams. A running train of thought turns to ruin hearing soft whimpers further back in their penthouse.

“Is... is that her?” His breath stutters, settling in redirecting the conversation to their daughter.

Mel’s shoulders deflate. She turns sharp on her heels, a mother drawn to the cries of her child. “She’s been teething,” Mel replies over her shoulder to Jayce still at the threshold of what he used to call home.

tw: misogynoir + transphobia I know this is another sock account of RJ Vinnie (akinsparrow), but I’m going to reiterate how disgustingly racist and vile this shit is. This person continues to perpetuate anti-Black hatred specifically towards Black women while also spewing transphobia.

A screenshot of two posts by this person on an alt that reads:

i think black women need to take
responsibility for their own insecurities and how they're hurting others with them. they always accuse the jv fandom of being racist for no reason and its just insecurity. they know that jayce chose viktor and feel like it's a personal attack on them because they've

projected so much of themselves onto mel. then they complain about black women not having love interests in media (which isn't true lol) but refuse to create their own stuff like the jv fandom has BEEN doing. just lazy and insecure shitheads

Another post by the same person that says: i'm sick of people pretending the jayvik fandom is racist to mel in any way. we don't gaf about her. meljays are just insecure that jayce didn't love her and literally dumped her. and dare i say the "medical torture" fic wasn't that bad

Yet another post that feature them commenting “when do we lynch them all.”

Riding through, just to put my eyes on you ☀️ thank you my dearest @keyxiidae.bsky.social for another beautiful commission 💐 #arcane #meljay #melmedarda #jaycetalis

Digital art painted by @keyxiidae of Mel Medarda and Jayce Talis from Arcane (& League of Legends). The art features them in a stylized Cowboy AU, Jayce is sitting on a railing at a rodeo, leaning in to kiss Mel from where she stands on her tippy toes beside him to return the kiss. Jayce is wearing his usual Talis house colours (red and white) but has jeans on with a massive Talis belt buckle and JT carved into the leather. He’s also wearing a golden trimmed cowboy whiling smiling into the kiss with Mel. Mel is wearing a white flowy dress with pleats and lace, long knotless braids that cascade down her back past her waist with gold clasps, and a small golden headpiece similar to what she wears in the show. She is also smiling happily while pressing up into Jayce for a kiss. The ship meljay is implied.
