New regency Hollanov thing coming tonight; if this one gets any traction maybe I’ll do a series, because these two definitely have me by the throat rn

I hate how much AI writing style is just… my writing style. That I have used for like 15+ years. I feel like I have to actively change my style and that sucks. Like fuck off bro, I was here first.

Fighting for my life lately with discouragement when it comes to my writing. I hate feeling like I have to actively beg people to read my work. I realize I’ve had my day in the sun and that day is over, but my writing is better than it’s ever been, yet no one reads it.

I miss engaging in fandom. I’m never going to stop writing because it’s what I enjoy and how I express myself, but damn, I miss when people talked to me about my writing or even just chatted with me about the source material a little bit.

After this chapter is posted I’m going to write a chapter so entirely self-indulgent that it’s just gonna be 10k words of historical Hollanov fucking and confessing their love in a dozen different ways. Minimal plot. Maximum medieval dick.

Looking at some possible bedbound time the next week or so, and I’m hoping that means just like… A SHIT TON of writing. I get so tired of stories living only in my head.

Wanted to say thank you guys again; Fuli’s treatment is fully funded, so regardless of if she’s here for a few more weeks or many more years, everyone who pitched in has made a huge difference for our family. 💕

Update! Thanks to your help, Fuli was able to see the emergency vet. Now we just have to come up with about $75 to cover a month of meds, and we will hopefully see some improvement. Best case scenario, it’s a severe infection. There are worse cases too, but we are taking it a day at a time!

My sweet girl Fuli is having a serious medical issue. Vet seems to think it could be anything from an inner ear infection to a blood clot affecting the brain, but either way, urgent vet care is needed. This hits us RIGHT as back to school expenses have drained us. (1/2)
