Pottery sport: It’s when your throw goes wrong (say wall collapse) and despite the clay being waterlogged and annoying at that point, you pack it down and quickly re-centre and very carefully (slow wheel speed!) make something with what you’ve got. Here’s a pheonix from yesterday: an egg cup.
