Definitely tickles the nostalgia centers! Is there a Tandy1100FD mode where you can play on a washed out LCD screen but are desperate enough to try anyways? (Remember doing that with M1 Tank Platoon)

Hmm do I have multiple deposits in one dimension, or have separate dimensions. I'm currently trying to get a custom music track going but I can't figure out what I'm missing.

It'll let you craft portal keys for single use mining dimensions. (Currently 25 ingots + 5 greater life essences gets you a key, which you can pull around 125-150 ore chunks out of before it closes) Still have to balance but I think it should be ok with a decent garden.

I like early game also, it gets tedious as I transition to building mode. I try and make my mods facilitate easier building.

Will it have modding and chiseling? Actually fr, chiseling is huge for building. Playing that 800lb gorilla that just landed in your backyard, and struggling with my builds because VS has spoiled me with subvoxels. Like even with one rock and one stone, all of a sudden you have endless options.

I tried the Everwind demo as soon as it came out! Loved it actually, like you did so many things well. And airships OFC. Felt fresh and interesting, look forward to the actual game.

It's weird but interesting, having the intermediate essence as a currency almost. Maybe there'll be more essence syncs ultimately, encouraging large farms for the resources instead of just for food.

Neither Hytale, nor Vintage Story have a redstone equivalent, and that feels like a major mistake. As redstone was, and still is a huge part of Minecraft's popularity. Being able to build an arrow turret, is what got me into the game way back when. #Minecraft #Hytale #VintageStory #Redstone

I've seen a few VS modding projects pop up, ofc going for realism. I think one of them has to breakthrough and become dominate. Hytale is going to be crazy with modding and will have a bazillion mods I wish they would both get a vanilla equivalent also

I tend to cycle between Vintage Story & Minecraft, with Hytale in the mix I think it may slowly replace the Minecraft part; it has more of the MC vibe. I'm glad to have more voxel based survival games to play in anycase!

I feel like Hytale will eclipse Minecraft, the modding scene is going to be mental. But Vintage Story is a different game, more deep (and has chiseling ofc heh). Instead of switching between MC & VS, I'll probably end up playing VS & Hytale now instead.
