When you’re filming in black-and-white in a limited space, comics are a great source of ideas - especially ones like these, which helped inspire EXCLUSION. (Are we making excuses for how much manga we’ve been reading during production? Maybe. Don’t tell anyone.)

Our first stretch goal is about to turn things up. At $11,000 raised, acclaimed hip-hop artist and game composer extraordinaire @2mello.net (Denshattack!, Demon Tides, Later Alligator, and countless others) will be joining EXCLUSION with an original end credits track.

The future is coming... and it's starting in Atlanta. Our utmost thanks to @buriedalivefest.bsky.social for picking EXCLUSION as an official screenplay selection for this year's festival.

Massive thanks to the team at Perverted by Language for inviting us to read EXCLUSION last night, and just as much thanks to everyone who showed up! We hope you all enjoyed the show - and trust us, there’s much more to come.

Just a few of many inspirations for EXCLUSION.

E X C L U S I O N @exclusionmovie.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

What happens when EXCLUSION hits $4000 dollars on Seed&Spark? This. We’re not joking. We’re actually making this - and if we cross the halfway mark, we’re releasing it for free. This is how seriously we take these things.

E X C L U S I O N @exclusionmovie.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I am not known for my skills at drawing. Did that stop me from hand-drawing EXCLUSION’s storyboards? Not really. Should it have? You be the judge.

Once more into the breach. Massive thanks to the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards for selecting EXCLUSION as one of their summer 2026 finalists.

One of EXCLUSION's biggest inspirations is Japanese cyberpunk from the 80s and 90s. Worlds of concrete and steel, where the line between corporation and cult is blurred and flesh is mutable. Movies like these only get more prescient as time goes on - and if no one is making them anymore, we will.

How do we use AI to help make EXCLUSION? Easy. We don’t. Support us on Seed&Spark, and you’re supporting real, human artists. Everybody wins.

This is how it starts. (No, we’re not telling you how EXCLUSION ends. Support the film on Seed&Spark - or show up at the Earl in LA on Tuesday, September 22nd - if you really want to know.)

The distant RUMBLE of engines.

Then - a HISS.

Metal STRAINS and CRACKS. THE HISS GETS LOUDER.

Crates tumble, SCRAPING across the floor. LOUDER.

SCREAMS cut short, vanishing into void. LOUDER-

INT. ESCAPE POD BAY - NIGHT

A bloody handprint on glass. Blinking lights and oil-stained pipes. SPLINTERING METAL far off; the HISS softer here.

FOOTSTEPS. A body SLAMS into canvas beneath us, yanking the pod door shut. A CLANK as it locks.

INT. ESCAPE POD - CONTINUOUS

Wet tubes and cables, switchboards and slashed padding. No room to move. May as well be a coffin.

A glimpse of the future. Poster art by the phenomenally talented @oddoblivion.bsky.social. Go follow him and support his work.

A skeletal figure inside a cracked and decaying space suit, terms and conditions reflected upon its helmet, reaching out towards the viewer and screaming from inside a storm of contracts and paperwork.

Over this, in text:
