With my Wordpress writing...well, we buy most of the things we review. 😁But I'll sometimes consider "value" e.g. is X really representative of £60 of entertainment. I don't really comment on reselling, but its absence (in the future) will make purchasing decisions more important.

More tests. Rainbow Islands, Last Ninja 2 and Karnov all playable at a slightly compromised framerate. Also I found the turbo warp mode thing to expedite the loading.

Update: I looked up how to install Vice to my RS97. 😁The framerate isn't great (the first thing I tried was Uridium) but it might be good for slower games...

Yeah, the controls severely limit what kind of things you can play (no flight sims, text adventures, management sims.) "TheC64 GS" would be more accurate. 😁

The Spectrum and C64 handhelds from Blaze have been delayed from October to April. In a way I'm kind of relieved; next month was looking busy enough, and it gives me a chance to check out other stuff.

Former Disco Elysium devs at Zagreb-based @summer_eternal_ have set Oct. 14 for the reveal of their new RPG, RED ROOSTER. Argo Tuulik is directing with fellow former ZA/UM writer Dora Klindžić, and the reveal comes via a 500-page physical anthology.

I've developed a habit of picking something to have as an alternative when I'm playing bigger games. Like, jumping between a 50hr RPG and a roguelite I got in a sale, or whatever.

I was actually playing 64 earlier this week (on one of those OpenGL web ports), but I dropped it at around Hazy Maze. It's a bit like Sonic in that some of the "best" 3D environments for the camera are a corridor.
