Understandable and the same reason I burn myself out after 3-4 of these, and don’t do comms any more, haha. I get it, trust me. I am a chronic over-doer. Not trying to change your mind here really, but maybe dispel the illusion you would need all that upfront investment if you did.

I will say, as someone slow and inconsistent and unpolished, it is still fun. I’ve never bothered going all the way with refs, usually only have a couple ocs anyway, no html. For me it’s all about surprising a few people with what little art I can manage. Still pressure of course, but hey
