These are also both so so good. Grosbeaks have the funniest little :/ face of all time Glad Maris reads as some kind of bird of prey too. Intentional with her design! In case you’re curious, these are the ones I’ve picked for them in the past!

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I’m always assigning birds to my ocs anyway but I wanna know what someone else would pick. Maris, excessively professional tank captain tragically separated from her war. And Pavi, big shy hunter woman who loves to cook

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Thanks! All good to ask. She’s a seraph, the player characters in blocks game vintage story. They’re giant blue people who appeared after an apocalyptic event (more or less. There’s a ton of lore I have only lightly read)

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Pavi’s stupid gnome hat has grown on me enormously. She’s like if a Smurf was 7ft tall and green and a woman This was the only thing I could motivate myself to draw post artfight burnout btw

Three views of the same character; a large green-skinned vintage story seraph. In the middle is a back view of her drawing a recurve bow, showing off her back muscles. To the right is a close up of her face and red Phrygian cap. Across the bottom, she’s lying down on some rocks, watching a line of leafcutter ants

Just barely sneaking one last attack in under the wire. Ida for @gutterghostt.bsky.social !

As if viewed in a mirror, a pale white-haired woman leans toward the mirror/viewer, examining some slime mold like markings crawling up her neck. In the gloomy lab reflected behind her, a medical lamp illuminates similar yellow slime mold, which appears to be climbing up the wall and forming a vaguely humanoid silhouette.

Barely got any artfight in before life+burnout punched me in the throat 2 weeks into this month, but: REVENGE for my wife Cel and her sad crow woman Desta

Bust of a pale woman with black hair and crow motifs, set against a silhouette of several crows. The crows’ eyes are shaped like the phases of the moon. The woman is holding a ball of black and white fire.

Obligatory BIG attack for my beloved friends, of all our Vintage Story creatures experiencing plot

Five characters in a spooky dark library. They all look nervous and ready for danger, aside from the one in the foreground, who is absorbed copying something from an old book. above them, the gas lamps are snuffing out.

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Attack for @reddragonraz.bsky.social! I wanted to draw some Vintage Story interactions this year, and their feral little hunter called to me right away

217444

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Very first attack goes to @appoarsin.bsky.social! I always love a reason to draw a psyker

A psyker from Warhammer 40k Darktide, wielding a psionically-empowered greatsword against a horde of chaos cultists. She looks stern and focused, with lightning haloing her face.

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Hello, I'm going to do artfight again this year, in my usual 3-4 pieces fashion I threw a funny little wildcard in here for anyone who wants to draw me something small or doesn't like drawing humans! artfight.net/~pythosart

216229

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Pavi does not like humans. They always ask for weird stuff and overpay, which makes her suspicious Trying out switching up my sketching order of operations (color blocking before refining) results promising!

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

I had started coloring this and decided I didn’t want to, but eh they look alright too

114322

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

Darktide Maris from my past few lunch breaks, because I miss her Messed up that in order to see the character I have to draw her myself

Ink wash experiments for with @osteophagy.bsky.social and @nukeloop.bsky.social ‘s Elder Scrolls characters Just looking at the couple of these I’ve done so far, it’s cool seeing some muscle memory coming back after not branching out of digital much in so long. It feels great to do something new

210621

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

This is the third attempt. First one I discovered was not in fact on watercolor paper, second one I’m pretty happy with and might do more with The finished one was truly spur of the moment as I discovered a pack of gold paper postcards in my desk

1193

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

Been hating making digital art lately, so recruiting friends’ characters for experiments with my hoard of neglected art supplies Skein for @osteophagy.bsky.social

26017

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

rougher than I’d normally post here, but these turned out nice. Some more Elder Scrolls, this time feeling out a look for my Bosmer that I actually vibe with The green and brown ren faire wood elf look they otherwise get is so disappointing to me

417741

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Still making art incredibly slowly. Here’s some silly Elder Scrolls stuff from my friend group recently

18413

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

Brushes used, plus some random outfits with the rough master brush. It’s got a nice alcohol marker look in Procreate that I really like

1354

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

Trying a few different brushes than my usual. Plus I missed drawing Maris

433461

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 21/12/2025

The portraits are from this, a sheet I made because I love OC paperwork and I love Darktide. I thought the portraits came out too nice to only be for this, though!

0617

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 21/12/2025

Wrong turn in the Torrent I wanted to do something more with the little Darktide portraits I was doing recently, and got a little ambitious. As you do

A scene of three Darktide veterans standing together in a murky tunnel. The two on the left are looking at an auspex screen. The one on the right is lighting a cigarette. Superimposed above them are five small portraits of Darktide operatives, including the three in the scene.

331569

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 29/11/2025

Just the lines for both of these, because I think they look pretty nice as is.

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 29/11/2025

Glad to jump back into Darktide again with a new crop of poorly adjusted little guys Maris is having as horrible a time as you’d expect, stripped of her rank and with a problematic new combat stimm addiction, but at least she doesn’t have to do it alone.

A page of Darktide character drawings. The top left depicts Maris and Eddie, two veteran guardsmen, Maris swinging a sword and Eddie firing a boltgun. The top right depicts the same two jokingly discussing the best way to destroy the planet. The bottom right shows Maris telling Neci, an Arbitrator, to cherish the pain.

A sketch page of Darktide characters. The top left depicts Maris, a veteran guardsman, and her sister Margot, inside a valkyrie dropship. Maris is in chains, asking an offscreen guard if they really believe she’s a traitor. The right side depicts Maris standing with a sword and laspistol. The bottom left depicts Maris ordering her former sergeant Eddie, who doesn’t have to take orders from her any more.

Today’s warmup/loosening up exercise, featuring scenes from an RP with @nukeloop.bsky.social’s character Sula learning something about Maris Tried a completely different approach than my usual

28811

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 01/11/2025

Experimenting, just trying to loosen up and draw without overthinking. These are messy and aimless but that’s kinda the point Defaulting to that demon design from earlier because I like her

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 10/10/2025

I have not beaten Silksong yet but I DID go and draw a bunch of my and my friends’ characters as bugs! I tried to be fairly specific with species here. See if you can spot what they are even with the stylization

Some Maris perceptions of others in her RP group. This is like my favorite exercise with character group dynamics

0767

Py @pythosart.bsky.social · 14/09/2025

Funny groupchat downtime project during SPX was… drawing our characters as highly collectible action figures?

Halloween icons in the groupchat start in September. We’re coping I think Anyway terminator Maris

A waist-up drawing of my OC Maris as the Terminator. The right side of her body is torn away to show a metal skeleton, and she’s holding a gun
