I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
I'm not giving any warnings or second chances. A single disparaging comment on a Jessica cosplayer, and I'm throwing you out of the rainbow colored Toontown Tent.

Yeah creature types are always an issue even on cards that are within magic, they recently changed it so creature type hound also counts as a dog because it didn't before. Think the magic rules like a Jenga pile and they kinda just keep adding to the pile and somehow it never seems to fall

000

Pylohn @pylohn.bsky.social · 12/05/2025

As a magic the gathering player and from the cards I've seen, the mechanics are pretty on flavor for FFXIV for the most part and are very creative work arounds to represent the characters. You gotta keep in mind magic the gathering is a ruleset that hasn't really seen many changes since the 90's

I'd argue things really went wrong during the gamecube era , I mean Bush laid the groundwork come on

010

Pylohn @pylohn.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

That is an absurdly wild take, care to elaborate?

100

Pylohn @pylohn.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

Oh yeah I agree but I don't see that catching on at an LGS level and much easier to convince your play group

020

Pylohn @pylohn.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

Yeah the most fun I always had was against Stax decks and the need for problem solving and challenge against a deck like that but I think you can easily run into a problem of every game turns into Archenemy against the Stax player that also leads to stagnation and similar play patterns

100

Pylohn @pylohn.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

Stupid. The word you're looking for is Stupid.

200

Pylohn @pylohn.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

Oh yeah I just wish there was more room for jank but I think that's why I've really fallen out of love for magic and have been moving away from it

110

Pylohn @pylohn.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

I dont think either of these takes are that hot, but man if i cut one of my decks down to meet these criteria I would never win a game at my LGS again full stop. I think that says more about my local meta than anything else and it makes me sad.
