I'm sorry I'm not your God #millsage

I need a tiny shiny piece Why can't it? I can't get it Because of the closed window, don't you see? Don't you see? The world is so vast, so fast, so bad.

Sweet Tooth Witches🍭 It's Halloween 🞪 Umineko month again!🎃 This Frederica and Lambda art piece is one of my favorite postcard illustrations. There are many other favorite Umineko characters I want to draw. A great VN series with a greater, atmospheric Halloween soundtrack! Please listen to it!💜

Super Mario Sunshine is surprisingly more realistic than later Mario games in one specific aspect: here, Mario will start drowning if he hangs on to a ledge in such a way that water is flowing into his nose and mouth, as one would in real life.

Observe Mario holding on to a ledge that water is flowing over in Super Mario Galaxy (left) and Super Mario Odyssey (right). If realistic physics applied, he should start drowning since his nostrils and mouth are covered by water flowing into them.
However, in these games the air depletion/drowning state is tied to the swimming animation. As long as Mario is not visibly swimming, he cannot be drowning even if he is covered by water.
In Super Mario Sunshine, however, air depletion is decoupled from swimming as an action, allowing Mario to realistically start drowning in this situation (note him flashing red and his air meter depleting).
However, he is saved by Sunshine's (also unique among 3D Mario platformers) ledge tiredness mechanic. After hanging on for 20 seconds, Mario will let go. This is also realistic, since why would he let himself drown?

Rotom is such a simple design, I felt like I couldn't do much with it so she kinda just feels stripped down, but I hope you like it! Fun fact: file name for this is, 'RoRotom'. I'm so clever, fufu~

finished nier replicant the other day i luv kainé #NieR

Kainé from NieR Replicant, holding a white cube. Half her face is covered with old Windows-sytle Notepad windows saying "KAINÉ ARENT YOU FORGETTING SOMETHING IMPORTANT...?" . Behind her are more windows in the same style sporting error messages and a command panel. Tears can be seen from behind the notepad windows.
