They are :3 I have one feeder and plan on setting up more, it’s a little small for some guests The quality isn’t the best, but we had a flicker visit the other day. They’re huge!

Test run of a fun watering can today :3 ( yes it has a flower-shaped spout 💦🌻) #gamedev #flowerbud #nomadsculpt #aseprite

Pre-rendered sprites influenced by Harvest Moon 64 / Story of Seasons.

Using the original Harvest Moon 64 inventory UI to showcase pre-rendered sprites, will not look like this in game.

Two items are in the inventory: pruners with butterfly wing shaped handles and a blue plastic watering can with a giant yellow flower spout. All were sculpted first and then re-sized and re-colored in Aseprite.

finished coloring and brightness in Aseprite, too, because well, your pruners may change ;)

a pair of pruners I modeled in Nomad Sculpt. They are toy like with butterfly wing shapes handles, keeping with the Harvest Moon 64 influence

Speaking of, did a little test for Flowerbud today. I finally have the pre-rendered sprite workflow down. My pruners are on the left, original shears from Harvest Moon 64 are on the right. Going from Nomad Sculpt to Aseprite was pretty easy!

Using Harvest Moon 64 as an art reference, I created a pair of rusty pruners with butterfly shaped handles. The original shears from the game are on the left. I used HM64's inventory to show similarities.
