Please don't use ChatGPT to summarize your problem when emailing support. Just send me what you type into ChatGPT, it'll save us both a lot of time.

I'm thinking of adding an AI chat support widget to the Pushover website so people assume we're a forward-thinking company, but it's just going to be me replying to messages This way if you get mad at the responses you'll just think it's a dumb AI chatbot and I won't have to take it personally

The first beta of Pushover 5 for Android is available in Google Play for beta testers. Please kick the tires and report feedback! The major change with 5.0 is that a device can be registered on both a personal and teams account at once End-to-end encryption is also supported if you're into that

A change is coming May 1st to how API message limits are tallied, becoming per-account/per-team instead of per-application. This will also remove the limit on the number of applications that can be registered. blog.pushover.net/posts/2026/4...

The first beta of Pushover 5 for iOS should be available in TestFlight today. It has a lot of under-the-hood changes requiring a database migration so update to it with caution.

If anyone has any recommendations for a non-Cloudflare global load balancing service, please let me know. It must have DDoS mitigation, IP blocking through an API, custom TLS configuration (private cert and TLS versions), and health checks to remove failed nodes. Tried AWS and Fastly but no good.

Subject: [Pushover] Account deletion: Other (Please specify) Feedback: The app is not user friendly... AND...your company has a BLUESKY account and NO X.COM account. That tells me EVERYTHING I need to know about you: You do NOT support free speech. That is a deal breaker for me!!!

Came across this nice Go library for interfacing with Bambu Lab printers: github.com/torbenconto/... I already had a Go service doing home automation stuff, now it has printer support. It turns the light off automatically, reports metrics, and even notifies me of state changes via @pushover.net.

A dashboard in Grafana showing the state of a 3D printer.

It shows the following:
- Current printer state ("Printing" in large letters)
- Current print progress (93%, in a gauge)
- Current time remaining (4 minutes, in a gauge)
- Current nozzle temperature (220 degrees c, with a line graph behind it)
- Current Bed temperature (55 degrees c, with a line graph behind it)
- A live picture from the printer
- A timeseries graph of temperatures, showing the actual and target temps for the bed and nozzle.
- A timeseries graph of fan speeds

A screenshot from the pushover app.

Under a large "All messages" heading there's an entry titled "Printer status", with the text "The printer has finished". Below it there is an embedded picture showing the inside of a 3D printer.

Notifications cleared yes, messages deleted no But clearing notifications on iOS without a 2nd push notification showing a new message requires a silent push notification which iOS heavily throttles so it's not very useful unfortunately
