Push @pushonblue.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I really thought 2026 was the year that @somersetccc.bsky.social were going to win the County Championship for the first time in the club’s century-and-a-half history. Congratulations to Warks but, flipping bloody heck, how many more times are we going to finish in second place!!? 020

Push @pushonblue.bsky.social · 14/09/2026RIP Cheetah Chrome, guitarist with The Dead Boys. I remember flipping out when I heard the awesome ‘Sonic Reducer’ for the first time on Vertigo’s ‘New Wave’ compilation in 1977 and the band’s ‘Young, Loud And Snotty’ album still sounds young, loud and snotty almost 50 years on. 041

Push @pushonblue.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Envious of you seeing Jefferson and Fingers Inc so early! I was at that T&C night and the crowd was very small. Thinking about it, it was the day after that I interviewed Darryl (and also Paris, plus Keith Nunnally I believe) at a little hotel somewhere in Soho. Thanks for jogging my memory! 120

Push @pushonblue.bsky.social · 16/08/2026It was a huge turning point, although it was interesting how London clubbers didn’t fully accept house music until acid (apart from in the gay clubs). I remember seeing DJs like Mark Moore clearing the floor when they tried playing house tracks to crowds that only wanted hip hop and rare groove. 100
Push @pushonblue.bsky.social · 15/08/2026Ooofff. And with the one and only Darryl Pandy on vocals. I interviewed Darryl a year or so on from this. Such an incredible voice and such a lovely man. 281

Push @pushonblue.bsky.social · 09/05/2026Is it a long sample? Is it a high profile person? Will it be a physical release? If yes to all three, then possibly 1. If not, then probably 2. The key thing is whether it’s a physical release (costly if you have to withdraw it) or a digital download (you can just remove it and say sorry). 120

Push @pushonblue.bsky.social · 30/04/2026Love this video. We were always doing this sort of thing at my grammar school – let’s hear it for Hamond’s in Swaffham – back in the 1970s. 130
Push @pushonblue.bsky.social · 26/04/2026I’ve always had a soft spot for Coventry City. I had lots of family living in Coventry (and Rugby) and we’d go there two or three times a year when I was growing up. Anyway, it’s great to see the Sky Blues back where they belong. 130
Push @pushonblue.bsky.social · 26/04/2026I only went because a mate of mine lived in the village and told me about it. They were really good as I recall, but I was still quite new to gigging, so I enjoyed pretty much everybody I saw at that point!! 110
