Recently visited Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO. Its no Vasquez Rocks, but I can still see a pretty awesome fight with some cheesy space aliens happening here.

An area of the red rocks sharply rising on the left of the pic, green trees, shrubs, and yucca through the middle, a red "small boulder" in the foreground. (Maybe a couple really strong folks could lift it?) I wonder if there's a Gorn hiding in here.

Getting tired of this home reno. I was constantly cleaning up until I wasn't physically able. I shouldn't have taken that break last week. I'm in a crunch for time now with a house guest coming. This was found on the stairs to the bedrooms. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Most of a 40 year old 3 inch nail that used to hold the old baseboards to the stair wall. It is far too big for the task it had.

Hubs built a thing! I get a bonus pantry shelf, most of a drawer, and a kitchen cabinet out of the deal. 💜🍷🍸

A home made side board (cabinet) with 2 drawers for alcohol & bar ware storage. The top is finished in the wood's original color. The base is painted a deep chocolate. There are brushed nickel handles. The top is staged with wine bottles, dried fruit, and bar glasses.

New smaller stroller for Sprocket. This was our 2nd walk with it. It's lighter and easier for me to handle. She doesn't do well in temps warmer than about 65 for walks. Her gut was a wreck early on and her tolerances are low. This allows me to get my own exercise in. #runtlife #costcofinds #happydog

Took out many frustrations on the backyard sod. Hand tilling for 3hrs for new seed. Now for a treat, Barefoot strawberry fruitsecco! Like a strawberry jolly rancher but fizzy.

I've made so many pairs of socks, sweater sleeves, and finished hats with this bamboo circular needle. It's probably 15yrs old. I was noticing little mysterious flakes while knitting the last 2 days, and traced them back. Wood only lasts so long. I replaced it with metal.

Walked with the family to see neighborhood light displays. Less than usual. I get it. It's been a rough time for a long time. But we found some sparkles of happy.
