Per a report for this week's WMATA board meeting, @purplelinemd.bsky.social passengers will be able to pay fares by tapping phones or credit cards like they do on Metro; SmarTrip cards will also work. There will be support for transfers, but that document says @mta.maryland.gov will set those rules.
