The FFXIV RP Event Calendar is looking for a bit of help. We could use a hand identifying stale event listings and could use a few people to just drop by places and check to see if they're still active or if we need to prod at the event runners. There is a form at xiv.fyi/help-us with more info.

For two and a half years now, we've been gathering folks together at Buscarron's Druthers. Many have come and gone in that time. Old Buscarron, though, he will always be here. Come out and join us again for some open world, walk up roleplay tonight in the South Shroud of Mateus! #ffxiv #ffxivrp

Can't scrounge the gil for dinner? Out at Buscarron's there are fish to catch catch so a cat won't go hungry. Join us tonight for open world, walk up role-play (and possibly fishing - Erah'sae is broke again) at Buscarron's Druthers in the South Shroud of Mateus at 8PM US Eastern #ffxiv #ffxivrp

On the bridge just East of Buscarron's Druthers a cat uses the wrong bait to try and catch trout in the Hathoeva River. Someone should let him know about versatile lores.

Open Word / Walk Up Roleplay
Mateus - The South Shroud
Tuesdays 5PM AND 8PM US Eastern.

RPhub isn't just an RP thing. if you want somewhere to keep your ffxiv characters organized that's enough. It makes me sad seeing people think they're not welcome, because you don't RP?? You absolutely are also you can set characters to private or friends only.

I'm loving this confused Urianger meme I commissioned from an rphub user. It's been the 404 page for a while, but I had to share. Thanks @mrhare00.bsky.social #FFXIV

Digital drawing of Urianger from Final Fantasy XIV looking confused at a scroll. A speech bubble says "THIS CANNOT BE ITS ENTIRETY. WHERE DOTH THE REMAINDER LIE?" The background is a dark color with "404" and "Page Not Found" text.

if you have an RP group, FC or otherwise i recommend putting it up on rphub's new communities section!!! you can do little writeups, track your plots/events, a staff section, a guestbook.. seems neat. it'll especially be great for FC/rp recruitment, which we sorely need rphub.co/communities

rphub is a fucking godsend dude. apparently they're adding a spot on the site specifically for RP FC recruitment, which has been one of my biggest bugbears for such a long time in the ffxiv community. i really hope it ends up being utilized bc we desperately need a localized place for them.

OCs being posted on that ERP site without consent is disgusting. Also seeing some confusion: RPhub is NOT affiliated with that tinder project in any way. If you ever find your (or friend's) character on RPhub without permission, please let me know. I’ll personally banish them. Stay safe.

This needs to be fixed. RPhub will soon be space that brings back RP to public, not behind closed (and hard to find) discord doors.

RPhub can't replace creativity it takes to build a carrd. It was built so you don't need website builder skills in order to have a pretty place for your OC. It shifts the burden to the site's design and experience, and aims to improve walk-up scene in FFXIV by enabling community and connections.

I've been seeing posts popping up about RPhub's enforcement of SFW. I hope to clear things up with this post. First of all, as the creator, I have 0 problems with adult content, I'm a supporter of free expression among the adults.

the coolest part of rphub and the Glance plugin is that it lets you set up a profile even if you're a console player. i genuinely love that they've made sure to include console players on this.
