I js spent half an hour thinking about was a genious for my dystopia idea I was brainstorming only to realize it was the lorax. I litterally rewrote the lorax word for word bar for bar. I genuinely said "what if its capitalism! And they have to pay for clean air- it's the fucking lorax..."

and there's also someone I've seen referred to as "the watcher" who seems to be a scientist for the corperation, who will say discouraging things in the pause menu, among other things I can't name off the top of my head. They watch the expies for entertainment, as stated in one of the pause quotes

something i find really interesting abt casualties unknown is the fact that there seems to be 2 omnipresent entities. There is the player, who can more directly influence the expie, while not directly playing as the expie as tehy can refuse to do things (1/2)
