I've really not been looking after myself for a couple of months. Never have prioritised myself very highly. I was accidentally on telly with my beautiful mate a couple of weeks ago and I saw a broken, podgy old git. Couple of weeks of giving a shit about myself since is making a difference.

I just read that the infrastructure in Britain is only designed to work between 5°c and 25°c. Knowing that now it seems obvious. Climate change is affecting other people's far worse , but it is not going to be fun here.

IME we'd sit there smiling conspiratorially as we chomp and slurp. One account I rescued used to have a home baking club. There were jolly comestibles most days. Serious work, wonderful folks. And cake. Occasional pies.
