I haven’t listened to much doom metal since my 20’s. My attention span doesn’t have the bandwidth for such long songs any more. But I would go to a doom show again in a heartbeat. Truly one of the most fun genres to see in person.

I miss when hardcore songs were 7 different parts all smashed together to make a single song Nothing repeated. No chorus. One memorable riff. A talking part. Extended bridge sequence. Three fake endings. Seamless into the next track. It comes on shuffle and sounds like you started mid song
