The Giver. It was one of the first books I read that didn't have a clear happy ending, it had one you had to think about, and boy did I. It was the first time I realized that being in a society made you numb to its idiosyncrasies and sometimes you had to stop and think about what was going on

AD (for 13 more days): I've had no uterus for 4 years and I can't tell you how many times I've have a pregnancy test included in my bloodwork. A test I didn't know I was getting until I got my results and is wholly unnecessary due to the aforementioned lack of baby maker

And if you're a woman, you have to get referred to a specialist, then you have to convince said specialist there's an issue, and then MAYBE you'll get your hormones tested. Of note, I have relatively high T for a woman but I didn't know that until we started testing for early menopause

Thanks to everyone who has reached out about the loss of Torch 11 at Edwards on Monday. For someone who is normally so verbose, I'm at a loss for words and almost numb with grief. To lose so many, so fast is devastating, not only for me but for the whole B-52 community.
