Absolutely convinced my Anders cosplay is cursed. Because every time I pick him up again, something happens that shifts deadlines. And I have to put him down once more. He's be rattling under my floorboards for 4? 5? Years at this point?

redraw of everyone's favorite 'dad & the cat he didn't want' panel #WitchHatAtelier #WHA #Δ帽子

digital fan art of Oruggio and the Brushbug from Witch Hat Atelier, a semi-realistic re-draw of a panel from chapter 44. Oruggio is a young man of average build, with messy short straight black hair and an unkempt goatee. he is wearing his usual white shirt with billowing sleeves caught at the elbows with dark cording; there are burn scars scattered on his forearms and hands. the brushbug is a silly fluffy noodle creature that's mostly fur and huge eyes, with a tail that is twice as long as its body.
Oruggio is lying down on his stomach, propped up on his elbows, and razzling the hell out of the brushbug's tail while it's rolling around on the floor in front of him with its paws all akimbo. Oruggio is looking up with a beleaguered and unimpressed expression on his tired face, as if momentarily distracted from bothering the animal.

We did it, gang. Both sides actually went pretty fast too! Wish I'd gone for more contrast. But I guess my insane DCM reference colourmatching fucked me over when buying the ribbon and embroidery thread separately 😐

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
I'm not giving any warnings or second chances. A single disparaging comment on a Jessica cosplayer, and I'm throwing you out of the rainbow colored Toontown Tent.

ayooo randomly throwing photos into the pit for #HotVanderSummer day 2: cooking! silco is getting hungry alright #zaundads

Cosplay portrait photo of Arcane S2E7 Vander wearing only his white tank top beneath his apron. He holds a bowl of dough in one arm, with flour spread all over his apron and even on his nose and forehead. He is licking some dough from his finger.

Close portrait cosplay shot of S2E7 Silco's reaction seeing Vander being such a good househusband. Silco is smirking at the sight, obviously enjoying what he's seeing.

coco, child of hope... 🌠 🖋️

an illustration of coco from witch hat atelier. she's holding a book in one hand and her fountain pen in the other, with brushbuddy sitting upon her shoulder, looking up at her. she stands against a quilt-like background composed of chopped up images of landscapes including that of the atelier and coco's spell-cursed house, tree branches and star patterning. above coco are qifrey and iguin are mirrored on either side of her, with her mom in a star-quilt pattern directly behind her. at the very bottom of the illustration, is the partial visage of brim hat coco, as shown in speculation throughout the manga.

"Facism is the act of self-deception in service of making your own life more painful, solely for the payoff of making life more painful for people you dislike."

User dratsab huffman asks the question:

To amuse myself i researched revacholian nationalism as well as measure head's race theories etc etc and focused my character on "traditionalism".

Anyway, ive noticed that if i ever click dialogue options that are in tune with my character's political compass, i lose morale. Whats the point of having this as a mechanic if its going to be so detrimental and feels like the character doesnt believe he actually is this or something... is there anyway to overcome that kind of morale loss?

Recalcitrant Jester replies:
Being a fascist is a deeply demoralizing experience. You have to not only radically alter your worldview to make reality fit into your unhinged schema, but that worldview is predicated on the notion that the weakest, most unworthy degenerate worms on the planet are somehow overpowering and humiliating you on a moment-by-moment basis.

In mechanical terms too, the lowered morale also reduces your volition score—the more you indulge in your delusions, the less you are able to exercise self-control and self-awareness.

The point of fascism being mechanically detrimental—the ludonarrative theme—is that fascism is an unequivocally self-destructive ideology, the practice of which only serves to nurture that self-destructive urge and turn it outward. It's not like Dark Side points in KotOR where you can access cool new abilities and get to enjoy being such a nasty lil rascal; you are not supposed to enjoy being a fascist in Disco Elysium. Fascism is the act of self-deception in service of making your own life more painful, solely for the payoff of making life more painful for people you dislike.
