bringing you some of my yunsan horror au this wip wednesday👻 cw being drunk / tipsy

“San? Hey, you good?”

Yunho’s face comes into focus, eerily pale under the full moon. Eyes dark and hazy like the woods. Cheeks flushed from drinking, shimmering with sweat.

“Whoa.” San sways, trying to back away. “Too close.”

“Careful, oppa.” It’s Soyeon’s voice, lighthearted and amused. “You’re gonna fall.”

“Soyeon-ah, you’re back! Did ya have fun?” San tries to hug her, but stumbles forward with the grace of a drunken swan until a strong arm comes around his chest, pulling him straight.

Soyeon sighs with fond exasperation. “Yes, oppa, I had fun. Did you?”

“No, absolutely not.”

“He’s lying,” Yunho whispers, conspiratorially. “He turned into a cuddle monster. Hongjoong hyung had to practically fight him off.”

Soyeon hums. “I should’ve known he would be a clingy drunk like me. When we were kids our parents gave us plushies to hug while we sleep. And I think we developed this reaction that once we get sleepy, we yearn to hug something—someone.”

Yunho laughs. “Is that how that works?”

“I’ve yet to be presented with a different plausible theory.”

“Uh-huh. You know, I think it’s cute.”

“Hey, hey, wait. Are you two talkin’ shit about me?”

“Whaaat? No way.”

“Whaaat? No way.”

Soyeon gasps, dramatically. “He said ‘shit’.” Upon Yunho’s confused expression, she elaborates, “Oppa never swears. Like never, ever, never.”

The hands holding San up tighten slightly.

“So he’s an uptight, goodie-two-shoes, who loves to cuddle?” Yunho inquires, sounding way too pleased.

“Basically.”

“I’m no good at all,” San bemoans. “No good at anything.” He looks at Soyeon, her forehead wrinkling with concern. Oh no, he doesn’t want her to worry about him. After everything that’s happened she should be carefree. Lovely and weightless like petals carried by the wind.

Yunho snorts, unbecomingly. “And he’s also a drunken poet. You must have all the girls swooning, huh, Choi San?”

“Ugh, no, do not encourage him, Yunho-oppa!”

Their voices turn into an unintelligible hum melting with that of the cicadas.

And suddenly San is falling and falling, surrounded by darkness, his wings singed by the Sun. The landing is unexpectedly soft, a bed of dead leaves catching him.

All around him are Haedal-ri’s thick woods.

Khrrk, khrrk.

He isn’t alone in them.

replies felt weirdly discouraged on twitter (at least to me) but I really recommend getting back into the habit of telling artists directly when you like their stuff. not even in an engagement farming way, it just feels nice. nobody's day is going to be worse hearing that you like their work

be careful everyone, there might be disgusting and vile spam comments on the rise again..

and if it isn't spam literally fuck that person wtf is wrong with them

wow this pissed me off so much like hello???? it's also so violent, it feels less like it's about them potentionally calling someone out for using ai and just telling someone to kill themselves.. half the comment is literally just so vile🤢

tw suicide 😒🚬 the irony of receiving a spam comment most likely generated with ai claiming i use ai (and also telling me to kms in five different ways how fun) i had hoped this trend was over after i received a couple of them at the beginning of the year but ig not

i literally can't stop going "omg and what if this also happened" sjdhdjd it's so annoying

it's the prequel to a different atz hiorror au i've had in my drafts for a year, and it's taken over my life for the past months

YES (hopefully)!!! it's a yunsan summer horror au that takes place in a rural small town surrounded by strange woods, where people go missing. slowly sn gets dragged into it as he begrudgingly befriends the local oddball yh. together they solve the mystery that haunts the town, but at what cost?👻

god i dont wanna jinx it but i do feel like the new meds are helping, although it means i won't be able to start my day with coffee anymore💔
