It basically comes down to this. If City think #Gakpo is worth buying, then for #LFC he's worth keeping, especially as, regardless of any incoming wingers, we're lacking proven goalscorers, and experience

I'm confused. I get that if, IF, we buy two wingers, we don't need Gakpo (+ Munoz & Rio, plus Wirtz/Elliott/Frimpong at a push) on the wing - but then who's our backup striker? Seems very odd to contemplate selling a proven PL player when the squad already looks very light #lfc

Can't see a place for Ramsay in this squad. Loan or sale beckoning surely. Same for Chiesa really. But when we lack goals and creativity, I can't see why Elliott is consistently overlooked, as Wirtz's understudy (I've never seen Elliott as a winger tbh). Strange one #LFC

They've definitely improved but I don't think Spurs have got value out of the market this summer. Savinho has done very little for that price tag.

Why would we even bid now for Minteh? He can't help us in the first half of the season and therefore his price is hardly likely to go up. A cheeky January bid maybe but £50m is too much (especially considering the deal for Tzolis, who looks quite a bargain for Arsenal)

I think absence has made the heart grow fonder with Quansah. He's a good player and would certainly be playing now, but I suspect the club feels that with Jacquet, Leoni and Ndukwe, Quansah isn't essential in the long term.
