One thing I’ll never understand about Milwaukee is… how do we all live in the cold, and in a huge festival city, but we don’t have a bunch of winter festivals, winter markets, etc?? Why does everything close in October? lol we need community 😭

My bestie came over to my moms today and we got a ton of yard work done.. got trees trimmed and hung up a swing for the kids.. cleaned a bunch & got my mom showered/cleaned up like she even let me clip her nails and all that! & I drove her car home so that’s not a worry anymore either..

Spent all day at my great aunt’s house because I drove my grandma 3 hours north to the town she was born in to visit with her sister and brother for what might possibly be the last time. Wish we could stay longer but more than a day trip is so tough for her. Really glad we made the trip.
