Finally making some real progress at my moms house. The whole main level is just about done and the yard is looking significantly better. Wish I could just take off of work for a couple weeks and get it all done so much faster, but alas. I used up all my pto.😭

Alzheimer’s is so shitty because what do you mean my mom can remember an old family friend when she stops by & can tell her exactly what my sister did to her, but walks away & then she’s telling her reflection in the mirror to come sit down with them.🥲

Spent all day at my great aunt’s house because I drove my grandma 3 hours north to the town she was born in to visit with her sister and brother for what might possibly be the last time. Wish we could stay longer but more than a day trip is so tough for her. Really glad we made the trip.

I did it. I played lawyer today and the judge ruled in my favor and granted the restraining order against my sister. That was the most stress I think I’ve ever been under. Asking legal questions without much knowledge of the actual process was so scary and intimidating but I fucking did it.😭

Got my great nieces bed all delivered to my moms house.. got the outlets and light switches replaced/ blinds replaced/kitchen faucet replaced and got the broken table (broke in a storm last night) all cleaned up. Overall got a lot done today & hopefully by tomorrow night my niece will be in her room

I got my mom to take a shower tonight. After about a week of fighting over it. I am so so so relieved. I don’t know how well she cleaned because she didn’t let me help, but it’s progress and that’s all I wanted. Thank god.

Well got a call from the bank today that my sister tried taking my mom to the bank to withdraw $5000+ from her IRA account. Luckily the banker stopped it from happening and the police were notified so she has now been served her restraining order and was forced to leave my moms house. Free at last

Been at the courthouse all day after going to the bank with my mom because my sister illegally named herself as POA as well. THEY GRANTED A TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER FOR MY MOM (against my sister). I am so fucking relieved. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
